Robins became associated with Christmas in the 19th century, when Royal Mail postmen wearing bright red uniforms were nicknamed "robins". The robins' association with Christmas grew from there, with the birds appearing on Christmas cards and wrapping paper. Robins have are significant with loved ones no longer with us " When a robin appears a loved one is near" is a traditional saying. Try your hand at making a beautiful Robin mosaic to brighten your window display or hang on your tree. There is the opportunity to add some of your own materials into the mosaic which have special memories of loved ones. You are certain to cherish your artwork for many years to come. Finally choose a coloured enamelled embelishment and make a macrame wreathfrom which to hang it. A free glass of mulled wine and mince pie on arrival. ( Non alcoholic alternative avavilable)
Creating macrame Christmas decorations can be a delightful way to infuse your home with a touch of handmade charm during the holiday season and the winter months.
Make a beautiful Christmas Rag Wreath which will adorn the festive table for many years to come. Introduced into the home during the victorian era
